If you are considering apprenticeships in Queensland in the energy or mining industries, then head along to the Surat Basin Energy and Mining Expo this June!
There’s a wide range of apprenticeships and traineeships that you can take up in these industries, including electrical, mechanical fitting, automotive, metal fabrication and information technology.
The Surat Basin Energy and Mining Expo is southern Queensland’s largest energy and mining event, showcasing the opportunities that are developing as a result of the mining boom in the region.
The event is in its third year and will take place at the Toowoomba Showgrounds on Wednesday June 19 (9am to 5pm) and Thursday June 20 (9am to 4pm).
The city of Toowoomba is noted to play an important role in providing products and services to meet the “increasing needs of the booming mining industry”, serving a growing population of more than 250,000 people.
Receive the apprentice support and information you need, with training and recruitment organisations present at the expo for employment opportunities.
Around 400 exhibitors will be on show at this year’s event, including Australia’s leading integrated energy and mining services provider, Easternwell, and one of the country’s largest privately-owned building and construction companies, Hutchinson Builders.
