The number of jobs available in Western Australia appears to be on the rise, following positive employment data for December 2015. According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS), unemployment dropped 0.3 percentage points during the month – the largest decline across the country.
New construction jobs in Queensland are on the horizon, following a state government announcement that 10 solar projects could soon receive financial support from the Commonwealth.
Queensland’s coal industry reported record exports in 2015, making it two years in a row that overseas shipments have surpassed previous achievements.
