The Queensland Training Ombudsman’s Office closed on 31 October 2012 following a decision by the Queensland Government to reduce duplication of services and costs. Complaints by apprentices, trainees and their employers will instead be made to the Department of Education, Training and Employment,the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT) or the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission (QIRC).
