Natasha relocated from Harvey Bay to the Gold Coast this year and started the 3rd R U BUSY? Course for 2013 with high hopes that she would get employment within the hospitality industry. Natasha’s passions are to work in this industry as well as eventually opening up a Café/kitchen which feeds less fortunate people within the community and the customers pay a donation to what they feel the food is worth. Natasha applied for many roles within the Gold Coast and finally got an interview at Hungry Jacks. Natasha gained part time employment whilst on the course, but maintained her attendance to complete her Certificate 2 in Self Awareness and Development. Natasha works out the back cooking the burgers and learning all aspects of cooking, which is something she is very passionate about. Natasha is excited to be working at Hungry Jacks and eventually down the track will look at gaining a 1st year Chef Apprenticeship once her confidence has improved in the kitchen.
Those employed in mining industry jobs and apprenticeships in Rockhampton are set to benefit from a number of changes and improvements coming to the area.
William came onto the 3rd R U BUSY? program with a few challenges relating to his disability, although this did not stop him from having the dedication and perseverance to complete the R U BUSY? course.

Sativia came onto the 2nd R U BUSY? course with high levels of social anxiety, low self-esteem, low self-worth and confidence due to past traumas of being bullied at school. Sativia expresses herself in art and has always been passionate about developing her own comic book, whether it was available online for free or a hard cover which people can buy. Amongst her many talents, Sativia is a fantastic sketcher and often had her drawing pad ready to go for an inspirational comic character she was developing.
