Are you considering taking up an apprenticeship, but need more insight into your chosen line of work?
Then make sure to free up the dates of Friday May 24 and Saturday May 25 on your calendar for the Brisbane Careers & Employment Expo!
The event will be held at Southbank’s Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre from 9am to 4pm on Friday and 10am to 4pm on Saturday, where visitors of all ages can attend to receive free careers advice and explore the range of jobs and employment on offer.
You can also speak to a number of exhibitors about your apprentice options – whether you’re interested in pursuing school-based, mature age or adult apprenticeships!
Entry to the careers and employment expo is free, with employers such as Energy Skills Queensland, Construction Skills Industry, Aviation Australia and Civil Contractors Federation in attendance.
Featuring at the expo is the WorldSkills Try’a Skill and Try’a Trade section, an interactive area where visitors can try their hand in a number of skills including welding, motor mechanics, hair and beauty, hospitality and fashion.
The exhibitor list, floor plan and seminar programme is available now on the National Careers & Employment Expo website.
