Exciting news for employers looking to put on staff – access to funding of up to $20,000 will remain available when employing an eligible apprentice or trainee.
The Queensland Government has just announced that the Back to Work program has been extended through to 30 June 2021 or until the available funding of $70 million has been fully allocated.
Under this program, a new Apprentice and Trainee Boost payment of up to $20,000 is available to employers who employ an eligible apprentice or trainee.
With the recent impacts to business and many Queenslanders being displaced from work, this news comes as a welcome opportunity for many.
