Hang in there because it’s definitely worth it to continue and gain the rewards that completing your qualification, gaining valuable experience in the workplace and in your industry that an apprenticeship or traineeship can provide.
To support you, a range of financial and other support is available to apprentices and trainees to assist you to successfully complete your training and contribute in the workplace.

With this type of work and learning opportunity, through an apprenticeship or traineeship, you and your employer are protected with a formal training contract. Both sides sign this document to outline things like your role, wages, and expectations. Undertaking an apprenticeship is time spent learning a skilled trade under a qualified tradesperson or professional. There are hundreds of professions – from hairdresser to mechanic, electrician to a chef, plumber to cabinet maker.
A traineeship is the time spent learning a job (or vocation) under a supervisor. You can do this in just about any workplace, for example, in a shop, a fast food outlet or office. These qualifications range from Certificate II up to Advanced Diploma.

Depending on your circumstances, BUSY At Work can connect you with a mentor or advise you on support available to you to ensure you successfully complete your apprenticeship.
