Personalised Career Employment Program

Career support for non-voluntary ADF transition.

We understand that not every transition from the ADF is voluntary.  Should you find yourself in a position where you are transitioning earlier than expected, it can be useful to have a team of supports help you get back on your feet.

The Personalised Career Employment Program (PCEP) is designed to assist ADF members between the ages of 17-30 who are medically or administratively transitioning after four years or less military service.

You’ll start your three-month support program by connecting with a dedicated BUSY Mentor who will help you to develop and implement your post-ADF Career Transition Plan. The next step is to collaborate with your BUSY Recruitment Partner to actively market yourself to civilian opportunities.

From identifying your skills and work capacity, through to building your personal brand and engaging in work placements, this supportive program is designed to lead you on a journey from self-understanding to securing meaningful civilian employment or engagement.

Transition for Meaningful Engagement (T4ME)

One-to-one transition support for your recovery journey.

Need specialist transition support? The Transition for Meaningful Engagement (T4ME) program assists ADF members with complex medical conditions in moving from the ADF to meaningful civilian employment or engagement.

Our T4ME specialists understand that every day in recovery can present its own set of challenges. Which is why you’ll receive tailored, one-on-one support from your T4ME specialist throughout your transition journey.

Together, you will:

  • identify transferrable skills and career drivers
  • explore meaningful post-ADF pathways
  • determine vocational goals
  • build resilience and capability
  • pursue new opportunities.

Best of all, your T4ME specialist will remain by your side for a further 12 months, providing post-placement support including mentoring, rehabilitation and other allied health services.
