Here at BUSY we're committed to positive social change and use our profits to support local community projects.
Our commitment to positive social change and providing support to local communities is at the heart of all we do. We use our surpluses to aid local community projects through our Community Services arm. We commit to a flexible approach to supporting community needs so that individuals experience long term benefits as well as short term results.
BUSY At Work Community Services develop initiatives to assist communities who may be facing barriers with gaining employment. These community projects assist people to learn self awareness, life and social skills, plus job preparation and employment expectations. They also receive mentoring and expert career advice, all while developing life skills that many of us take for granted. Some of our current projects include:
The Parliament and Civics Education Rebate (PACER) is an initiative of the Australian Government which provides some financial assistance for students in Years 4-12 across Australia to travel to Canberra, the nation’s capital.
The NDCO program is an Australian Government program working toward the Australia-wide coordination and delivery of transition services for people with a disability who are at, or who will be attending, secondary school, university or vocational education and training.
